Unit Chambers are delighted to announce that Chloë Booth has joined the team as a Consultant Barrister. One of the most talented Barristers on the Northern Circuit she will be a key addition to the Unit team and will bring a wide range of experience and expertise in all aspects of family law. Chloë focuses on Children Act proceedings as well as Family Law Act proceedings and represents clients in matters such as child arrangement orders, parental alienation, domestic abuse as well as some matrimonial matters. She has a particular interest in “quasi-criminal” matters in the family court.
Before coming to the Bar, Chloë worked for MBNA Europe Bank Limited concluding her banking career as a specialist on an international technology project. She also worked as a County Court Advocate and undertook over 300 hearings in Chambers on the Northern Circuit and beyond.
Chloë was called to the Bar in 2019 by the Honourable Society of Middle Temple having graduated with a First Class LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Cumbria. She subsequently achieved her LLM Legal Practice (Barristers) with distinction from BPP in Manchester. Most recently Chloë has been a member of Cobden House Chambers in Manchester and will join Unit Chambers with immediate effect. She is based in the Lake District and Manchester.
