Unit Chambers is delighted to announce that Clare Porter-Phillips will be joining the team as a Senior Consultant Barrister. One of the most established barristers on the Northern Circuit, Clare will be a key addition to the Unit Chambers team and will bring a wide range of experience and expertise in all aspects of family law.
Additionally, Clare is a qualified mediator and has a keen interest in private law children work and alternative dispute resolution. She will join Unit Chambers on 1st February 2021.
Clare was called to the Bar in 2001 and is a member of Lincoln’s Inn. She commenced her career at White Friars Chambers, Chester (now St Johns Buildings, Chester) and transitioned to St Johns Buildings, Liverpool in 2013.
Clare is widely known as a barrister who brings huge expertise across both public and private law and has represented local authorities, parents, children and interveners. She is well known for her passion and determination to achieve the best outcome for her clients and is highly regarded for her efficient and effective case management.
