Amjad Kadhim is currently completing a twelve month pupillage at Unit Chambers. Amjad is a familiar and friendly face across the Liverpool family law scene as he was previously a family court clerk and paralegal at MSB Solicitors. He has recently undertaken advocacy on behalf of fee earners in several hearings in the Family Court which include non-molestation applications and return hearings.
Amjad graduated with an LLB from Newcastle University in 2017 and in addition passed his Bar Professional Training Course from Northumbria University in 2018. He was founder and President of the Newcastle University Bar Society and was also an Ambassador for the Street Law Pro Bono Programme.
Outside of work, Amjad has a keen interest in fitness and trains in different martial arts. He is also a keen writer of screenplays in both film and television.
Natasha Khalique is currently completing a twelve month pupillage at Unit Chambers. Natasha has been a County Court Advocate with LPC Law for the past 2 years and is now a veteran of over 845 hearings across the Northern Circuit. Prior to that she was a fee earning Paralegal at Stewarts LLP in London. Natasha is passionate about family law especially child related matters. She enjoys appearing before District Judges representing claimants and defendants in hearings as well as liaising with solicitors.
Natasha graduated in Biology (BSc) from Queen Mary University of London in 2012. She continued with her Masters studies achieving a Distinction in Cardiovascular Science from University College London with a thesis focusing on Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Institute of Child Health. Additionally, Natasha passed her Bar Professional Training Course and Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP School of Law in 2016. She is a committee member of the Middle Temple Young Barristers Association for the Northern Circuit and is a regular volunteer at Refugee Action in Manchester.
Outside of work, Natasha has a keen interest in fitness and is currently qualifying as a personal trainer. She recently completed her first triathlon and also enjoys tennis, running and rowing.
Isabel Hawkins is currently undertaking a twelve-month pupillage at Unit Chambers. One of the most likeable legal clerks in the North West, Isabel is a key addition to the Unit Chambers team and brings a wide range of experience and expertise in all aspects of family law. Isabel was previously a legal clerk at Berkson Family Law Solicitors whilst at the same time completing her Bar professional course at the University of Law. Prior to this, she was a paralegal at BDH solicitors for two years.
Isabel graduated with a BA in History and Politics from the University of York in 2016 and then went on to complete her LLM law qualification at Liverpool John Moores University in 2018. She was also awarded the Queen Mother’s Scholarship by the Middle Temple.
Outside of work, Isabel loves drama, music and dance and has performed in a number of plays and musicals. She is classically trained in piano and flute and amongst other things, has been a member of an all-girl rock band as well as a backing dancer for music artist, Basshunter. Isabel also has a keen interest in fashion.
Joshua Brindle is currently completing a twelve-month pupillage at Unit Chambers. Joshua is a familiar and friendly face across the Liverpool family law scene having previously been a legal clerk at Berkson Family Law Solicitors and Morecrofts LLP.
Joshua graduated with a first class degree in Law LLB from Liverpool John Moores University in 2018 and is just about to complete his LLM legal practice (Bar) at BPP, Manchester. He was awarded the Peta Fordham Scholarship, an Exhibition Award and the Duke of Edinburgh Entrance Award by Inner Temple in 2020. He was also awarded a BTC Excellence Award from BBP in 2020 and is also a student advisor for the BPP Legal Advice Centre.
Outside of work, Joshua enjoys making his own clothes, ice skating as well as baking, painting and travelling. He is also a keen writer.
