Unit Chambers are delighted to announce that Bernadette Goodman will be joining the team as a Senior Consultant Barrister. Bernadette is a well-respected and highly sought-after Barrister with over 35 years of experience on the Northern Circuit. She was called to the Bar in 1983 by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.
She will be a key addition to the Unit team and will bring a wide range of experience and expertise in all aspects of family law. Bernadette has a strong interest in all aspects of children’s work (both private and public law), Hague Convention cases, and financial remedy proceedings.
Bernadette will be returning home to Liverpool. Having started her career at the Bar at, what was, Derby Square Chambers, where she practised for over 20 years before moving to St Johns Chambers, Manchester. Most recently, Bernadette has been a member of 15 Winckley Square Chambers in Preston. She will join Unit Chambers on Monday 3rd April 2023.
